Natasha Garyali was a staff writer for AsiaMedia and covered South Asia from July 2007 to February 2008. She formerly worked as a news correspondent for Doordarshan, India's largest broadcast network, where she covered significant events in Mumbai such as the 2006 serial bomb blasts that rocked local trains and 2005 floods which claimed over 200 lives. She has also reported on developmental and women-centric issues from the state of Maharashtra.
