The Asia Pacific Media Network (APMN) presents ASIA PACIFIC ARTS (APA), the only West Coast online magazine devoted entirely to the arts, entertainment, and culture of the Asia-Pacific region.
The weekly online magazine has been developed to provide media professionals, government public-officials, professors, students, and anyone interested in the Asia Pacific arts and entertainment with a reliable and exciting forum in which to gain insight on the regions entertainment culture.
With the increasing globalization of the worlds entertainment market this new magazine is sure to carve out a well needed niche in the media focusing on Asia Pacific arts and entertainment.
ASIA PACIFIC ARTS will include weekly stories covering top arts and entertainment stories in the Asia Pacific and focusing on film, theater, music, and books of prominent news value.
APA will also include a Digital Issues Platform interview in every issue. The Platform will feature streaming video interviews with prominent stars and artists in the Asian American community.
The Asia Pacific Media Network is a non-profit educational news media institution founded at UCLA by Professor and Los Angeles Times syndicated columnist, Thomas Plate.
APMN also currently publishes ASIAMEDIA, www.asiamedia.ucla.edu, the only Web page to focus solely on news about the media of the Asia Pacific.
APMN has enjoyed formal accreditation from the White House Press Office, the World Economic Forum (Davos), and the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization as a news institution. It is a regional alliance of the leading media institutions of the region, from Seattle to Seoul.
